NEPAN RETREAT HIKE AND CLIMATE TALK NEPAN in collaboration with Social Circle in Tarakeshwar, organized a one-day retreat and nature hike on 26 July 2025 in Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park with 51 participants including members, social activists, and local representatives. The program aimed to provide relief from urban pollution and stress while raising awareness of local climate change challenges and practical solutions. The hike route covered Tinpipley, Bhubaneshwori Temple, Panchmane, Tarakeshwar Temple, and Flag Park, offering participants a chance to observe Kathmandu Valley’s watershed areas. The event activities included mental health exercises, dialogue with local farmers, and interactive sessions at Kunchipwakal Secondary School, where students shared initial research findings on climate change and local environmental efforts.
